Floor Tech/ Manager Assistant
Position: Full time
Pay: $ 18
May require day or evening shift flexibility is key.
Currently looking for a detailed organized candidate to maintain the operation of floor equipment and conduct minimal repairs and upkeep of all floor equipment and warehouse. Job requires physical dexterity and technical skills . Specific duties may include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, polishing, cleaning and shampooing carpets, loading and unloading equipment.
Requirements and Skills :
- Valid Texas DL with clear driving record
- Able to pass background check
- Integrity
- 10 or more years of proven floor experience
- Willing to travel to different sites
- Flexible schedule
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
- Knowledge of floor chemicals and care of equipment
Responsibilities
- Buffing/Polishing hard surfaces, stripping, waxing
- Maintains areas in a clean and orderly condition
- Operates and maintains powered equipment needed for the job
- Must be able to lead, direct and follow up on other floor care team members
- Plans, organizes and evaluates work activities appropriately
- Follows established cleaning and operations procedures
Cleaner
Position: Full time day cleaner
Pay: $14 an hour
We are looking for a cleaner to take care of our facilities and carry out cleaning and maintenance duties. Our goal is to keep our facility clean and in an orderly condition.
Responsibilities
- Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc)
- Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
- Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
- Stock and maintain supply rooms
- Cooperate with the rest of the staff
- Follow all health and safety regulations
Requirements/Skills
- Proven working experience as a Cleaner 5 or more years
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
- Integrity
